Australian Grand Prix Corporation needed to be able to manage the growth of their organisation from 40 staff during the year to 16000+ staff for the primary F1 event and 4000 for the MotoGP.

Redgum helped build, maintain and extend this critical solution for AGPC for nearly 20 years.

What did Redgum do?

Redgum helped AGPC design and build a credentials management solution that controlled the workflow of collecting contractors details, allocating parking and zone access to the ground and controlling the approval process. Redgum then supported and improved the system for each event.

The credentials system allowed a handful of staff to manage the growth of their organisation, define the areas of the ground and print the passes event staff wore around their necks for the event.

Ultimately, Redgum helped AGPC define and control the security around the grounds for all the F1 and MotoGP events.

The system enabled individual contractors to submit requests for all their staff, indicating the job they needed to do and the access they needed including car parking and specific areas of the ground.

The system would then manage the approval chain with the relevant core AGPC staff internally to ensure the appropriate credentials were handed out.
